On Tuesday, August 28th, the Butte County Board of Supervisors will be holding a public hearing to determine the viability of granting a permit to open a private range operated by the Paradise Rod and Gun Club. There is a well-organized and dedicated effort afoot to stop the advancement of this range, which is why your participation in this public meeting is vital to the future of gun owners in Butte County. In 1998, the Butte County Board voted down an effort to build a public range on this property, which is why Paradise Rod and Gun is now pursuing a private facility!
