HB-493 PASSED by a vote of 17 to 1 in the House Judiciary Committee. Having passed in all of its assigned committees, the bill now heads for the House Floor.
CS/CS/HB-493 Mandatory Evacuation by Representative Heather Fitzenhagen (R-Ft. Myers)- Provides an exemption from criminal penalties for carrying a concealed weapon or a concealed firearm when complying with a mandatory evacuation order during a declared state of emergency and restores the right to protect yourself and your family during an emergency, mandatory evacuation.
On Thursday, March 12, 2015:
SB-290PASSED by a vote of 10 to 2 inthe Senate Rules Committee. This bill now heads to the Senate Floor.
