On Monday, April 9, the Louisiana Senate could consider Senate Bill 274 which seeks to restrict the constitutional right of law-abiding adults aged 18 to 20 to acquire some of the most commonly-owned semi-automatic firearms for self-defense, target shooting, and hunting. It is more important than ever that you contact your state Senator at 225-342-2040 and strongly urge them to OPPOSE Senate Bill 274.
This legislation is demeaning to Louisiana’s young adults who are otherwise allowed to vote, join the military, and exercise every other constitutionally guaranteed right.
