Eric Wyatt was looking over the books in his father's Colorado Springs, Colo., liquor store when he heard someone attempting to force his way through the front entrance. After violently rattling the door a few times, the intruder gave up and started around to the back door. Wyatt armed himself with a .357 Mag. revolver and went outside to investigate. He encountered two masked men, one of whom raised a revolver and fired at Wyatt. Diving to the ground, Wyatt returned fire, wounding one of the men. Both men fled but were arrested a short time later.
