Attorney General Ashcroft Defends The Second Amendment

Attorney General John Ashcroft recently wrote to ILA Executive Director James Jay Baker, regarding the Justice Department`s position on the Second Amendment. In the letter he expressed his belief that it protects an individual right to keep and bear arms, rather than the collective right view held by the Clinton-Gore Administration.
