City of Santa Fe

On Monday, June 18, Tuesday, June 19, Tuesday, June 26, and Wednesday, June 27, the Santa Fe City Council will hold public hearings on whether or not the city should "opt-out" of New Mexico`s new "Right To Carry" law, which officially takes effect on July 1. This is your chance to speak out against efforts to discriminate against trained, law-abiding carry permit holders who may live in, work in, or travel through the City of Santa Fe.

Council members will decide whether to formally draft an ordinance banning the carrying of concealed handguns within city limits after these hearings. That`s why it`s critical that you and fellow "Right To Carry" supporters make your opposition to this proposal known visibly and early. Please make plans to attend the hearings on Monday, June 18, Tuesday, June 19, Tuesday, June 26, and Wednesday, June 27, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m at the locations listed below and show your support for a UNIFORM, STATEWIDE carry law that INCLUDES Santa Fe!
