(FAIRFAX, VA) -- The National Rifle Association (NRA) is pleased to announce that Vice President Dick Cheney will speak to NRA members at the NRA’s 133rd Annual Meeting and Convention at 7:15 pm on Saturday, April 17, at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center Hall D and E in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Press credentials for the NRA Annual Meeting and Convention WILL NOT gain reporters access to the Vice President’s Address. Separate credentials will be issued for the Vice President’s speech. General media check-in will begin at 4:30 pm outside Hall D and E. Please plan to arrive well in advance of the event to ensure entry.
Pre-set equipment must be in place by 1pm for a security sweep. The distance between the press riser and the stage will be approximately 65 feet. Television crews and still photographers must bring appropriate equipment and lenses (sports lenses) to cover some events from platforms at a distance from the stage.
