Michigan Department of Natural Resources Seeking to Raise License Fees!

In a move that would prove seriously detrimental to Michigan’s hunting heritage, the Michigan Department of Natural Resources is seeking to raise hunting and fishing license fees, in some cases, more than 300 percent.

The House Appropriations Subcommittee on Natural Resources will hold a hearing on Wednesday, December 6, at 9:00 a.m. to discuss a DNR Workgroup Study proposal to increase the fees.

Please attend this meeting and make your voice heard. If you are unable to attend, please call your State Representative by phone at 517-373-0135 and respectfully urge them to help defend your hunting heritage.

U.S. House Passes Reconciliation Bill, Removing Suppressors from the National Firearms Act

Earlier today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R.1 the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which included Section 2 of the Hearing Protection Act, completely removing suppressors from the National Firearms Act (NFA).
