Virginia Senate Committee Likely to Vote on Concealed Carry Reform!

Earlier this week, the Virginia Senate Courts of Justice Committee delayed taking action on Senate Bill 476, sponsored by Senator Emmett Hanger (R-24). SB476 is an important concealed carry reform bill that would allow restaurant owners to decide if lawfully concealed firearms are allowed in their establishments, provided the permit holder does not consume alcohol. Current Virginia statue allows restaurateurs to permit open carrying, but not concealed carry for lawfully permitted citizens.  

The Courts of Justice Committee will likely consider SB476 during its regularly scheduled meeting tomorrow beginning at 2:00 p.m.
