The election of a Conservative majority in Parliament will mean the end of the controversial long gun registry, northwestern Ontario outdoor enthusiasts predict. "Like many other Canadian outdoor organizations, the Northwestern Ontario Sportsmen's Alliance has worked hard to lobby for our government to scrap the gun registry and we view a Conservative majority government win as a victory in this regard," NOSA executive director John Kaplanis said Tuesday.
