Oklahoma Legislature Passes, Governor Mary Fallin Signs “Parking Lot” Protection Expansions!

Today, Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin signed House Bill 1652 into law, which expands “Parking Lot” firearm storage protections to vehicles parked at professional sporting events, local, state and federal governmental entities and on vocational-technology center campuses.

Thanks to your vocal support, House Bill 1652 passed by strong majorities in both the state House and Senate and was signed by Governor Mary Fallin. 

This bill was authored by state Representative John Enns (R-41) in the state House and by state Senators Steve Russell (R-45) and Anthony Sykes (R-24) in the state Senate. 

It is very important to thank your legislators for supporting our Second Amendment rights. Please be sure to contact Governor Mary Fallin, the bill’s sponsors, and your legislators who voted to expand your Parking Lot protections!
