Pennsylvania: Penn Township to Consider Discharge Ordinance

This week, the Penn Township Board of Supervisors announced its interest in forming a citizen subcommittee to explore the enactment of a firearm discharge ordinance in the community. For more information on this important firearm issue, please read the Lancaster Online article, Penn explores firearms law, by Beth Anne Heesen.

In order to safeguard gun owners, we are urging NRA members to call the township at 717-665-4508 and ask to join this firearms ordinance subcommittee. If you are unable to volunteer for this subcommittee, please call and voice your concern about this possible firearm ordinance.

If you do not live in Penn Township, but have family or friends who do, please forward this alert to them and urge them to help protect gun owners’ rights.
