The US Forest Service will host an informational meeting on Saturday, August 3rd to discuss the future management of Flintlock Valley Shooting Range in the Uwharrie National Forest in Troy, North Carolina.
The meeting will be held at the Garner Center, located at 210 Burnette Street in Troy. It begins at 11:00 a.m. and will end by 1:00 p.m.

The NRA has invested much time and effort in the development of the shooting range, in reviewing issues that resulted in its closure and in discussions on what is needed to reopen it.
This meeting needs the support and attendance of target shooters and hunters. The importance of the shooting range to the sportsmen/ and women of Troy and surrounding areas needs to be expressed to the US Forest Service.
