An epic national debate over gun rights in Colorado on Tuesday saw state Senate President John Morse ousted for his support for tougher gun laws, a "ready, aim, fired" message intended to stop other politicians for pushing for firearms restrictions. Meanwhile, Morse's fellow Democrat, Sen. Angela Giron of Pueblo, was trailing by a wide margin in her effort to fend off a recall in her district at press time.
