House Bill 2485 allows the carrying of a handgun by law-abiding individuals qualified to carry a firearm for self-defense in publicly accessible areas outside of the secured sections of airports.
House Bill 1602 enacts the "Second Amendment Civil Rights Act of 2018." HB 1602 confers private right of action upon a person to challenge a government entity that refuses to make property available to third parties for Second Amendment activities when the property is made available for other activities.
Please contact members of the House Civil Justice Committee and urge them to SUPPORT House Bill 2485 and House Bill 1602.
