The Leon County Commission will only hold ONE (1) public hearing before voting on adoption of this gun control ordinance.

There is no “Gun Show Loophole.” It’s a gun control ordinance to impose a 5-day waiting period on ALL FIREARMS and to mandate a background check on ALL FIREARM PRIVATE SALES &PURCHASES when any part of the transaction is conducted on any property to which the public has the right of access.
