Last week, the House Administration of Criminal Justice Committee passed House Bill 602 and Senate Bill 402. These important self-defense measures are expected to soon receive a vote on the House Floor. Please contact your state Representative and strongly urge them to SUPPORT House Bill 602 and Senate Bill 402.
House Bill 602 would allow for concealed handgun permit holders, visiting a school, to carry a concealed firearm into any school, school campus, or school bus.
Senate Bill 402 would allow both volunteers with a valid concealed carry permit to serve churches or houses of worship as armed security. Further, this legislation defines training requirements for those churches whose insurance liability requires it.
Again, please contact your state Representative and urge them to SUPPORT House Bill 602 and Senate Bill 402 when they come up for a vote.
