The North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission (WRC) recently announced it will hold public hearings across the State regarding Sunday hunting on public lands. Despite the North Carolina General Assembly enacting a law to legalize Sunday hunting on public lands in 2017, the WRC has yet to propose rules opening public lands to hunting on Sunday. Two hunting seasons have essentially come and gone without allowing Sunday hunting. Please attend a public meeting or submit public comment in support of Sunday hunting on North Carolina public lands. Click the “Take Action” button below to contact the commission.
