Arkansas: Legislature Adjourns From its 2019 Legislative Session

Now that the legislative session has come to an end, it is important for pro-gun supporters to be aware of the great work that the legislature accomplished this session. Thanks to a few of your pro-gun legislators that went out of their way to promote and protect your Second Amendment rights.  Senator Bob Ballinger, Senator Trent Garner, Representative Jim Dotson and Representative Justin Gonzales were among those who pushed important pro-gun legislation that was signed into law. This legislation included cutting fees for carry permits in half from $100 to $50, as well as legislation that clarified the legality of firearm suppressors and other NFA classified firearms in Arkansas.  Further, the legislature prevented numerous attempts to threaten your right to self-defense, such as legislation that would violate your right to due process.

Thank you to all the NRA members in Arkansas who took action and contacted your Senators and Representatives on important Second Amendment legislation.
