Florida Alert! No Police, No Second Amendment, No guns, No Protection, No Freedom

Friday, July 31, 2020

DATE:   July 31, 2020
TO:       USF & NRA Members and Friends
FROM:  Marion P. Hammer
  USF Executive Director
  NRA Past President

Wake up America! Do you get it yet?  Do you understand what the gun ban proponents are trying to do?

They want to ban your guns and abolish police.  WHY? Because then we can't defend ourselves, our families, our community and our nation against the enemies of Freedom.

Who are these enemies?

Anyone who wants to ban guns and the right of law-abiding people to own and possess guns for any lawful purpose, is THE ENEMY.

Whether the gun ban supporter is an uninformed family member, a neighbor, a teacher or professor, a city or county commissioner, a state or federal legislator, or an evil billionaire politician like Michael Bloomberg or George Soros -- they are the enemies of Freedom that the Founding Fathers created the Constitution and the Bill of Rights to protect us and our nation against.

If you are not registered to vote, then get registered to vote and then VOTE on election day. Right now, your Vote against the enemies of freedom is your best weapon against tyranny.  See it, believe it, and know it, because it's true!

“My whole adult life, opponents of private gun ownership have insisted that an individual right to keep and bear arms was outmoded because it is better to rely on the police,” Georgetown Law professor Randy Barnett recently remarked. “In multiple ways, in 2020 that argument has been completely demolished.”

He is correct on both counts. The argument that only the police should have guns was once standard. It has now become unfashionable, as everyone is expected to accept the premise that only criminals and rioters should have them.

The anti-gun Left — and even a newly resurgent gun-toting Left involved in or near to the recent riots — is being swept by a movement to rein in and defund the police as well. Given that crime isn’t going anywhere (except up), the problem that arises from this set of circumstances should be obvious….
