Thank Your State Sen. Drew Springer For Passing Legislation to Strengthen Texas' State Firearms Preemption Law

Dear Texas Senate District 30 NRA Member:

The Texas Legislature adjourned last week from its 2023 Regular Session after having passed a number of pro-Second Amendment bills, including House Bill 3137 sponsored by your State Senator Drew Springer.

HB 3137 expands the state firearms preemption law to prohibit municipalities or counties from requiring firearm owners to obtain liability insurance, preventing such costly California-style local regulations from being imposed on law-abiding Texas gun owners in the future. The measure has been sent to Governor Abbott for his expected signature.

Please send a quick note of thanks to Sen. Drew Springer for sponsoring and passing HB 3137 this session, and for fighting to protect your Second Amendment rights!
