Grassroots Spotlight: NRA 2A Day at Battlefield Firearms!

With the state of Virginia in full election mode this year, NRA-ILA Grassroots is making important outreach in critical areas of the state by way of NRA-ILA’s Virginia Campaign Field Staff. Staff recently held a successful NRA 2A Day at Battlefield Firearms in Locust Grove, outside of Fredericksburg, where new volunteers descended upon the usually quiet, rural intersection of Routes 3 and 20, for a great day in celebration of the Second Amendment!

Battlefield Firearms is a veteran-owned gun store with something for everyone. With over eight years in business, Battlefield Firearms is a well-known destination, as evidenced by the constant flow of foot traffic in and out of the store. This offered the Virginia NRA-ILA staff a great opportunity to promote NRA-ILA’s grassroots programs and activism opportunities. We are grateful for community partners that help NRA in the fight for our Second Amendment rights, and look forward to many future opportunities as we get closer to the elections in November.  For information on how you can become an NRA Second Amendment Activist Center, please click here
