Idaho: Teacher Carry Bill Scheduled for Public Hearing Tomorrow

Tomorrow, January 24^th, the House State Affairs Committee will hold a public hearing on House Bill 415 relating to firearms on school property. Please contact the committee members and urge them to SUPPORT HB 415 by using the Take Action button below.

HB 415 allows K-12 school employees with an enhanced concealed weapons permit to carry a concealed firearm at school. The bill also protects the employee’s carry permit and information from public records requests. Enhanced permits are available to Idaho residents over the age of 21 who complete the requisite course and background check.
