Colorado: Floor Votes Expected Next Week on Semi-Auto Ban and Liability Insurance Mandate!

Next week both HB24-1292 the “assault weapons” ban, and HB24-1270, gun owner liability insurance mandate, could receive votes on the House floor. Additionally, the House Finance Committee is scheduled to hear anti-gun legislation which creates a redundant state permitting system for federally regulated firearm license holders. Use the two Take Action buttons below and get involved today!

Take Action and urge your Representative to OPPOSE HB24-1292 (Semi-Auto Ban) and HB24-1270 (Gun Owner Liability Insurance)!

Monday, April 8th

House Finance Committee 1:30 pm

HB24-1353 creates a state permitting system for federally regulated firearm license holders. The new permit adds one more layer of scrutiny and potentially state sanctioned harassment of these already highly regulated businesses. HB24-1353 adds additional conditions and requirements on the dealers, along with random inspections and severe penalties for violations.

Take Action to urge House Finance Committee Members to OPPOSE HB24-1353 (State Firearm Dealer License)!
