Oklahoma: Firearm Non-Discrimination Bill Passes House Committee

Today, April 17th, the House Government Oversight committee passed Senate Bill 500 by a vote of 13-3. It will now advance to the House floor for a vote.

Please contact your Representative and urge them to SUPPORT SB 500 by using the TAKE ACTION button below!

SB500, introduced by Senator Casey Murdock and Representative Kevin West, prohibits public entities from entering into contracts with businesses unless they certify that they do not discriminate against firearm businesses. Anti-gun corporations, banks, and their executives have expressed interest in denying services to the firearm industry as a way to further their political agenda and impose gun control by making such business impossible when legislatures won’t bend to their will.

Please stay tuned to the NRA-ILA website and your inbox for updates as this legislation progresses.
