Oregon: Senate Vote on Gun Control Omnibus Bill This Week

On Thursday, May 29th, the Senate is expected to vote on Senate Bill 243, the gun-control omnibus bill. Please contact your Senator NOW and urge them to OPPOSE SB 243 when it arrives on the floor by using the TAKE ACTION button below.

SB 243 is an omnibus gun-control bill that includes elements of other anti-gun bills including SB 696, creating the crime of unlawful transport, manufacture, or transfer of a "rapid-fire activator" and SB 698, expanding gun-free zones by allowing public entities to adopt policies that prohibit firearms, even for concealed handgun license holders.
