Grassroots Spotlight: NRA-ILA Grassroots Presents NRA-ILA Jay M. Littlefield Award at Annual Meeting

At NRA’s 154th Annual Meetings in Atlanta, the NRA-ILA Grassroots Division was proud to honor the latest winner of the NRA-ILA Jay M. Littlefield Award”! This annual award recognizes individual NRA members for their meritorious defense of the Second Amendment.

Don Mutsch has been a loyal NRA Endowment Life Member for many years and became an NRA-ILA Grassroots Volunteer just over a year ago.

Realizing the need for a strong Second Amendment presence in Wisconsin ahead of the 2024 elections, and being longtime supporters of NRA’s purpose, goals and values, both Don, and his wife Terri, willingly accepted the call to action and got to work!  They were instrumental to the NRA’s overall efforts in the “Badger State” last year, and there is no doubt that the Wisconsin NRA, and NRA-PVF -endorsed candidates would not have done so well in the state without their help. Don’s hard work and tireless dedication to promoting and preserving our Second Amendment rights in Wisconsin - at both the state and federal levels – was indispensable.

Don then quickly picked up the additional role of FrontLines Activist Leader (FAL), helping with staffing events, sending text messages, knocking on doors, and spreading general Second Amendment awareness. Since becoming an FAL, he has gone above and beyond the call,” independently identifying NRA Second Amendment Activist Centers, hosting multiple NRA 2A Day events throughout the state, and working diligently to build his own team of like-minded volunteers and coalition partners. Don’s attention to detail has also helped identify new relationships and opportunities within the region. For these reasons, Don Mutsch is being awarded the 2024 NRA-ILA Jay M. Littlefield Award for his outstanding volunteerism!
