SF 2263 allows individuals to secure a firearm in their vehicle in university and college parking lots, as well as non-secure municipal parking lots. The bill also permits licensed individuals to have a firearm in their vehicle in school parking areas. This bill also ensures that individuals transporting someone in foster care may lawfully keep a firearm in their vehicle.
HF 621 allows individuals with a valid permit to carry to lawfully conceal carry in their vehicle while picking up or dropping off someone at a school or while making a delivery. Firearms must remain secured within the vehicle and limited to school driveways and parking areas.
