With only a single day left in the 2026 legislative session, anti-gun radicals seem unable to take the hint from their last four attempts to push the gun control "wish list" package through the legislature, and have again introduced it under a new bill number.
On Sunday, May 17th, radicals in the House introduced H.F. 5160, a carbon copy of the previous iterations. H.F 5160's "wish list" package of gun control includes a ban on modern sporting rifles, magazines that hold over 17 rounds, homebuilt firearms, and certain types of triggers; places limits on self-defense rights; and expands red flag laws.
Anti-gun radicals have proven they will use every method and tactic possible to get this bill across the finish line, and we CANNOT let them think this most recent attempt has gone unnoticed.
