A youthful burglar found himself diving through a plate-glass window when he tried to ransack the Cincinnati, Ohio, home of Henry Gerbus. Gerbus grappled with the intruder, paused to grab a .22 bolt-action rifle and then chased the housebreaker into a greenhouse adjoining his home. Rather than face Gerbus' rifle, the criminal leaped through a window. Police caught him later, bleeding from many cuts.

Earlier today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R.1 the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which included Section 2 of the Hearing Protection Act, completely removing suppressors from the National Firearms Act (NFA).
