On Friday, March 26, Governor Locke signed into law, SB 5083. SB 5083 is the "Reciprocity" bill by which Washington would recognize "Right-to-Carry" permits from states which recognize Washington concealed pistol licenses. This bill is the first step in getting more states to recognize Washington licenses. SB 5083 passed both the Senate and House with strong bi-partisan support.
