The Vermont Senate has adopted a resolution for a "Hunter Appreciation Day!" The House of Representatives is expected to concur any day. According to this new resolution, "Hunter Appreciation Day" will be celebrated by all Vermont citizens on Friday, September 23, 2005. Currently, plans are being made to have a ceremony at the State Capitol to commemorate this day with a USPS special cancellation followed by a legislative shooting event.
