Idaho Fish & Game Department Discussing Possible Hunting Restrictions!

Please Attend an Open House Near You!

 

Attention Idaho Hunters!  On Tuesday, December 12 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday, December 13 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., the Idaho Fish and Game Department will be hosting open houses to discuss proposed restrictions on equipment used in the pursuit of game during the 2007-2008 moose, bighorn sheep and mountain goat seasons. 

 

The Fish and Game Commission has instructed the department to collect feedback on the use of lighted scopes for big game hunting and the possible prohibition of .50 caliber and larger centerfire firearms. 

 

It is vital that NRA members communicate with the Fish and Game department staff on these important issues.  The open houses will be held:
