While St. Louis is hosting NRA's Annual Meetings and Exhibits this weekend -- April 12-15 -- two critical pro-Second Amendment bills are awaiting action the General Assembly.
Please contact your State Senator at (573)-751-3824 and strongly encourage him or her to support and vote for House Bill 462, sponsored by Representative Brian Munzlinger (R-1), which repeals Missouri's outdated and redundant statute that requires a "permit to obtain" a handgun.
Also pending in the Missouri House of Representatives is Senate Bill 62, sponsored by Senator Jack Goodman (R-29), establishers that law-abiding Missourians do not have a duty to retreat from a criminal attack and may stand their ground while defending themselves and their loved ones! Please contact your State Representative at (573)-751-3659 and urge him or her to support and vote for SB 62.
