At 10 p.m. a masked criminal entered the Beachside Bingo hall in Pensacola, Fla. The armed robber was carrying a shotgun, which he pointed to the ceiling and fired, before demanding money. The manager of the bingo hall grabbed his pistol and fired at the criminal, striking him. The armed robber later died on his way to the hospital. A sheriff’s spokesman said the manager of the bingo hall would not face charges.
