Michigan: Georgetown Charter Township Board to Consider Discharge Ban on Monday, September 14!

Please Contact Your Local Officials! 

On Monday, September 14 at 7:30 p.m., the Georgetown Charter Township Board will consider a proposed ordinance that would more than quadruple the distance firearms can be discharged from buildings, regardless of whether or not the person obtains permission or owns the land.

The meeting will be held at the Township Office located at 1515 Baldwin St. in Jenison. 

Simply put, this is a direct assault on your hunting and recreational shooting rights and it is imperative that you make your voice heard in opposition. 

Please make plans to attend this meeting.  If you are unable to attend, please contact the members of the Georgetown Charter Township Board TODAY and respectfully urge them to rescind the discharge ban motion.  Contact information can be found below.
