Critical for sportsmen and hunters to make their voices heard
Earlier this year, Governor Jay Inslee (D) created a Blue Ribbon Task Force on Parks and Outdoor Recreation tasked with the mission to “transform” outdoor recreation. Now, the task force is spearheading an effort to solicit public input called Encourage Outdoor Washington.
It is critical that the voices of Washington hunters, shooters and sportsmen are heard throughout this process. Please take a moment to comment about the importance of access to public land for hunting and shooting, public shooting ranges, youth hunting and shooting programs as well as any other pro-hunting or pro-shooting programs that you care about. Don’t let the voices of anti-hunters and those who want to further limit your Second Amendment rights dictate outdoor recreation and attempt to erode hunting and shooting on public lands.
