Stopping a ban on common ammunition is as critical to preserving our Second Amendment freedoms as stopping a ban on firearms. When the government attempts to reclassify certain types of ammunition under arbitrary and misleading terms, they're simply using a back door to pave the way for gun control.
That's what happened earlier this year when the Obama administration tried — and failed — to ban one of the country's most popular types of rifle ammunition by executive fiat, and that's what Rep. Rob Bishop is trying to prevent from happening again.
