Wyoming: Pro-Carry Bills Could Receive Vote on the House Floor Early Next Week

House Bill 136 and House Bill 137 were both passed out of the Wyoming House Judiciary Committee earlier this week.  Both bills are currently waiting on the house floor and could be voted on as early as Monday.

It is important for NRA members and Second Amendment supporters to contact their state Representative and state Senator, and urge them to support these bills in their current form and oppose any amendments that would weaken them.

House Bill 136 would amend the existing statute to allow a person lawfully carrying with a Wyoming state permit to carry a concealed weapon on any public college or university campus or within any public college or university facility, without having to have the written consent of the security service of the public college or university.

House Bill 137 would allow an individual to lawfully carry a concealed weapon in any meeting of a government entity.
