Grassroots Spotlight: NRA Freedom Fest at Peacemakers Gun Range

Earlier this fall, NRA-ILA Michigan Grassroots Staff hosted NRA Freedom Fest at Peacemakers Gun Range in Howell, Michigan. This large-scale grassroots community event is a great way to reach the pro-2A community, educate those that want more information, and showcase the great relationships that NRA has on the ground in the area. Peacemakers Gun Range is a champion shop for the Second Amendment in Michigan.  They serve as an NRA-ILA Second Amendment Activist Center, and have partnered with NRA-ILA for NRA Freedom Fest, for more than five years.

The event featured various vendors--including FN, CZ, Winchester, Nightfall Optics, and more--who provided attendees with not only the opportunity to learn more about their products, but also the chance to try some of them out on the range. NRA-ILA staff and volunteers were on hand, providing free educational information and critical election advocacy material, signing up new NRA members, and helping to recruit over 100 new participants to the NRA-ILA FrontLines program! NRA-ILA is grateful to have partners like Peacemakers Gun Range that help promote critical grassroots education and engagement in support of the Second Amendment, and we look forward to more NRA Freedom Fest opportunities with them, and across the country!
