Undercover Video: Sen. Fetterman (D-Pa.) staffer claims boss would be “okay with like overturning the Second Amendment”

It seems as though Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) may like to overturn more than just the U.S. Senates standards of professional attire. According to an undercover video of Fetterman senate staffer Luke Borwegen, obtained by OKeefe Media Group, the senator would be okay with like overturning the Second Amendment.”

The video shows the Fetterman special assistant explaining that his boss is 100 percent for gun control.” According to Borwegen, this includes Red flags. Banning automatic rifles, like all that sh**.”

Pressing the Fetterman staffer further, the undercover journalist asked, So what exactly will he try to ban?” Borwegen responded with assault weapons.” The staffer also said of his boss, Like, hed probably, hed be okay with like overturning the Second Amendment.” Borwegen added, I think he would much rather prefer, like nobody have guns at all.”

Borwegens comments suggest that Fetterman is a gun control extremist that is wildly out of step with the American public.

A 2018 Quinnipiac University Poll asked registered voters "Would you support or oppose repealing the Second Amendment, also known as the right to bear arms?" A super-majority of 79 percent opposed this action.

The U.S. Supreme Court case District of Columbia v. Heller (2008) recognized that the Second Amendment protects an individual right to keep and bear arms. At issue in the case was the federal enclaves total ban on civilian ownership of handguns. Gallup routinely polls the question Do you think there should or should not be a law that would ban the possession of handguns, except by the police and other authorized persons?” The June 2022 version of this poll found that 73 percent opposed such a ban.

Borwegens statements also put Fetterman at odds with the Pennsylvania constitution. Article 1 Section 21 of the Constitution of Pennsylvania states, The right of the citizens to bear arms in defense of themselves and the State shall not be questioned.”

It also appears Fettermans anti-gun animus is reserved for average law-abiding Americans. Borwegen said of his boss, he owns a lot of guns.”
