Hawaii: Gov. Green Signs Carry Restriction Bill

On June 2nd, Governor Josh Green signed Senate Bill 1230 into law. It massively expands “gun-free zones” and creates a complicated patchwork of where people can lawfully carry. Further, it creates a permitting system with subjective factors that are ripe for abuse.
