Colorado: Two Anti-Gun Bills on the Move in State Legislature

Two anti-gun bills are on the move in the Colorado State Legislature. SB24-066, introduced by Sen. Tom Sullivan (D-SD 27), has recently passed out of committee and is now eligible for a vote on the Senate Floor and HB24-1174, introduced by Majority Leader Monica Duran (D-HD 23),  is set to be heard next week in the House Judiciary Committee.

SB24-066, legislation requiring the use of merchant category codes by payment processors to identify firearm, firearm accessories, and ammunition purchases passed out of the Senate Business, Labor, and Technology Committee and is now eligible for a vote on the Senate Floor.  Please use the button below to contact your State Senator and urge them to OPPOSE SB24-066!

HB24-1174, legislation requiring more stringent training requirements for concealed carry permit applicants and requiring class instructors to be certified by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation to teach.
