NRA’s Political Victory Fund Endorses Kelly Armstrong in the North Dakota Gubernatorial Primary

The National Rifle Association's Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) is proud to announce its full endorsement of Congressman Kelly Armstrong in the 2024 North Dakota Primary Election for Governor. Congressman Armstrong received an “A+” rating, the highest grade possible, for his strong pro-gun voting record and defense of the individual right to keep and bear arms.

This endorsement is a recognition of Congressman Armstrong’s steadfast support and demonstrated leadership on Second Amendment issues, protecting the rights of North Dakotans to defend themselves and their families, during his tenure in the State Legislature and Congress.

“Congressman Armstrong has been an ardent supporter of the Second Amendment and hunting rights at every level of his public service,” said NRA-PVF Chairman Randy Kozuch. “In elected office, Armstrong has been a committed friend of law-abiding gun owners and has rightly earned their support in the upcoming election. With Kelly Armstrong in the Governor's Office, the Second Amendment will be safe in North Dakota.”

In the North Dakota Legislature, Armstrong helped pass constitutional carry and promoted pro-gun legislation dealing with preemption issues and gun-free zones. While serving in Congress, he advocated for suppressors and nationwide reciprocity for concealed carry. Congressman Armstrong has also fought against “red flag” laws, a national registry of firearms, bans of commonly owned guns, and restrictions on the temporary transfer of firearms. In addition, he has held ATF accountable for unconstitutional rulemaking.

“Kelly Armstrong is battle-tested in our fight to defend our rights,” added Kozuch. “He also understands the serious threats posed to the Second Amendment and can be trusted to stand strong to protect the fundamental rights of law-abiding North Dakotans. Simply put, North Dakotans have a relentless champion of the Second Amendment with Kelly Armstrong.”

The National Rifle Association urges all its dedicated members and Second Amendment proponents in North Dakota to rally behind Kelly Armstrong in the 2024 gubernatorial primary election on June 11th, ensuring that North Dakota continues to shine as a symbol of freedom and constitutionally protected rights.
