South Dakota: Pro-Gun Bills Advance in Legislature

This afternoon, the House Judiciary Committee passed House Bill 1222 by a vote of 11-1, and it will now advance to the House floor for a vote on Tuesday, February 18th. HB 1222 allows for firearms to be stored in vehicles on school grounds by permit holders.

Please contact your Representative by using the TAKE ACTION button below and urge them to SUPPORT HB 1222!

Additionally, the Senate passed Senate Bill 100, allowing carry on college campus by permit holders. The bill will now be transmitted to the House for committee assignment.
