Wyoming: Gun-Free Zone Repeal Bill On Governor Gordon's Desk

On Friday, February 21st, the Senate passed House Bill 172, the "Wyoming Repeal Gun Free Zones Act," by a vote of 25-6. The House then expedited a concurrence vote later in the evening, and passed HB 172 as amended.

HB 172 has been transmitted to Governor Mark Gordon's desk and awaits his signature. Please contact the Governor directly by using the TAKE ACTION button below and urge him to SIGN HB 172.

HB 172 expands lawful carry opportunities across the state by repealing gun free zones for government meetings and schools, including college campuses.
