Today, April 28th, the Oklahoma House of Representatives passed Senate Bill 500 by a vote of 73-16. It will now be transmitted to the Governor Kevin Stitt's desk for his consideration. Please contact Governor Stitt by using the TAKE ACTION button below and urge him to SIGN SB 500!
SB500, introduced by Senator Casey Murdock and Representative Kevin West, prohibits public entities from entering into contracts with businesses unless they certify that they do not discriminate against firearm businesses. Anti-gun corporations, banks, and their executives have expressed interest in denying services to the firearm industry as a way to further their political agenda and impose gun control by making such business impossible when legislatures won’t bend to their will.
NRA thanks all legislators who advanced this critical legislation to Governor Stitt's desk. Please stay tuned to the NRA-ILA website and your inbox for updates.
