Yesterday, May 15th, Governor Kevin Stitt signed House Bill 2818, expanding self-defense protections. A special signing ceremony was held this afternoon to celebrate this victory for gun rights in Oklahoma.
NRA thanks Governor Stitt, all legislators who supported HB 2818, and all NRA members and fellow Second Amendment advocates for engaging with their elected officials.
HB2818, the Private Property Protection Act, allows for the defensive display of a firearm when presented with an active threat.
