Florida: Pro-Industry Legislation Passes House

Today, the Florida House passed House Bill 1551, important pro-industry legislation that strengthens legal protections for firearm manufacturers. The bill now advances to the Florida Senate for further consideration. Please use the Take Action button below to contact your State Senator and urge them to SUPPORT HB 1551.

HB 1551 provides needed product liability protections for firearm manufacturers by clarifying that they may not be held liable for claims based on the absence or presence of certain design features, safety mechanisms, or technologies that are not required under federal law.
