Today, March 30th, House Bill 26-1144 is on the agenda for a final floor vote in the Senate. Please contact your Senator by using the TAKE ACTION button below and urge them to OPPOSE HB 26-1144.
House Bill 26-1144 attempts to prohibit the private use of 3-D printers and milling machines for manufacturing firearms and firearms parts that are already illegal or restricted under state law.
HB 26-1144 previously included a provision to prohibit the possession of digital instruction files and/or code related to firearm components by private individuals, but was amended out at the request of Governor Jared Polis due to First Amendment concerns.
